To fill the society with individuals who have the power of differentiating between what is good and bad for them as well as the society and its people living in one accord.

Our approach

Our Story

We reach out to youths and make them interact with other young people from Universities and other organizations and teach them different skills in poultry, metal and wood work, piggery and goat rearing. We also embrace them in a friendly way so as to provide them with a family environment for learning, make them understand our culture and hardships they need to overcome in the journey of their life. We also make them aware of the social issues they are in and how to make it a betterplace for them to survive and grow. A well defined smile is what we care for and try to achieve with our constant approach.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Diploma in Journalism, Diploma in Public Relations, Certificate in Information and Technology.Occupation currently: Monitoring and Evaluation officer at Mukinge Mission Hospital, Data manager: CHAZ (Mukinge Mission Hospital).

James Mwabila
PROGRAMMES OFFICER

He is also co-founder of KYD. He finished his higher studies at UNZA. He works as a programme Manager at two companies and has also worked before as a CEO. He was one of the key member along with Misheck Kyailusa when the organization was established. Planning of trips of the youths to various knowledge centres

Cleverance Yoba
PROJECT COORDINATOR

He is a socialist and has been handling the secretariate and Content of KDYD. He finished his Bachelors Of Arts degree from Cavendish University, Zambia.He finished his higher studies at Evelyn Hone College. He also has experience in the field of marketing and content writing. He has very good experience in leading and desingning.

Richard Kamayani
Finance Officer

Rchard comes among the founder of the KYD. He finished his higher studies at Evelyn Hone College. He also has experience in the field of marketing and content writing. He has amazing skills in teaching and leading. Manages the finances of the organisation.

Chinyama Ruth
STORES AND LOGISTICS

Chinyama Ruth is a skilled health worker and a statistician. she has done her higher studies from Mukinge Nursing College. She is an experienced person in the field of data handling. STORES AND LOGISTICS at KYD.

Levious Kaleele
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Levious is an enthusiastic Monitoring and Evaluation Officer . He has a Bachelors degree in sports and Religious studies and has the capability to convince people around and get them to where he wants. He also has a very good sense of understanding.
